The “High Oleic” Oil is obtained through a painstaking selection of sunflower seeds with one outstanding quality: their high oleic acid content. This selection is made by the natural hybridization method and never by genetic modification systems.
In Azzurra Trading, we thoroughly control the whole production process of this oil; from the sowing of the most suitable seed varieties, storage, molturation and refining through to the bottling and the important separation of other types of oils. Given its composition of acid fats, “High Oleic Oil” reduces cholesterol in the blood and helps prevent cardiovascular disease. In addition, due to its similar behavior to olive oil while cooking, “High Oleic Oil” is especially suitable for frying as it lasts three times as long and stands higher temperatures without giving off smoke and unpleasant odors.
